Joint Commission posts new FAQs for HR standards

The Joint Commission has issued a new set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for its Human Resources (HR) chapter. These FAQs are relevant to the following accreditation programs:
- Ambulatory care
- Behavioral health
- Critical access hospitals
- Healthcare staffing services
- Home care
- Hospital
- Laboratory services
- Long-term care
- Office-based surgery
Additional FAQs for the laboratory services accreditation program have also been posted on the topic of method verification of instruments on loan.
