AHAP Conference features panel discussion
Accreditation Connection, April 15, 2011
This year's Association for Healthcare Accreditation Professionals (AHAP) Annual conference will feature a special panel discussion taking a close look at the top 25 most frequently cited standards, and an examination of why these are frequently cited, as well as easy fixes, prevention techniques, and solutions to tackling these seemingly unsolvable challenges. This three person panel will include national experts Lisa Eddy, Brad Keyes, and Jean Clark.
This discussion will help attendees:
- Identify surveyor standard “favorites” and understand why these are frequently cited
- Sort survey myth from reality and recognize the dangers of changing performance to avoid RFIs
- Learn how to combat frequently cited, highly vulnerable issues by building compliance into practice
- Understand the importance of including Life Safety and Environment of Care in accreditation compliance activities
