Joint Commission still accepting comments on heart failure certification proposed requirements

The Joint Commission issued a reminder this week that it is still collecting opinions from the field on the proposed revisions for its Advanced Certification in Heart Failure. The organization hopes to receive feedback from those healthcare providers who work with and provide care to those with heart failure.
This certification, in conjunction with the American Heart Association, is intended to allow organizations to demonstrate the highest level of performance in the area of inpatient and outpatient heart failure care.
