Joint Commission manual update expected in late October

The Joint Commission has announced that there has been a slight delay in the publication of its latest update to the comprehensive accreditation manuals for the following programs:
- Ambulatory care
- Behavioral health care
- Critical access hospitals
- Home care
- Hospitals
- Laboratory
- Long term care
- Office-based surgery
The update was originally schedule to be mailed mid-October, but due to a delay in the production process, will not be mailed until the end of the month. All accredited organizations receive one free copy of the updated manual.
