Joint Commission appoints 21 to advisory council

The Joint Commission announced this week the appointment of 21 new members from across the country to its Hospital Advisory Council.
These healthcare professionals are selected to represent a wide range of background and training from more than 240 nominations nationwide. This year’s appointments include Association for Healthcare Accreditation Professionals advisory board member Jean Clark, service line director, Health Information Management and Accreditation, Roper St. Francis Healthcare, Charleston, SC.
“This level of interest indicates a broad commitment on the part of health care professionals nationwide to help The Joint Commission realize its new vision,” says Mark Pelletier, executive director of The Joint Commission’s Hospital Accreditation Program.
