From the AHAP Blog: Joint Commission set to launch primary care home option

The Joint Commission intents to expand its ambulatory health care organization accreditation process by adding a primary care home option.
The standards for this new model will be posted for field review in November, 2010. The organization hopes to begin pilot testing in early 2011, with final standards published in March, 2011.
