The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and its AAAHC Institute for Quality Improvement conducted a survey of 113 organizations that submitted information on more than 1,700 procedures performed in 2008. Cataract Extraction with Lens Insertion 2008 Report: Performance Measurement and Benchmarking in Ambulatory Organizations is the ninth in a series of reports on cataract surgery conducted since 1999 by the AAAHC Institute.
