There are several ways that hospitals preparing for CMS surveys can get sidetracked.
Let’s touch upon some CMS survey myths and dispel any misunderstandings:
Myth: If surveyors don’t have current acute care backgrounds, their findings will be invalid or suspect.
Reality: Nothing could be further from the truth.
