Joint Commission announces appointment of new vice president

The Joint Commission has announced the appointment of Ann Scott Blouin, PhD, RN, to the role of executive vice president for the Division of Accreditation and Certification Operations. She will begin this role in August 2008.
Blouin, a 30-year industry veteran, was most recently a principal in Deloitte’s national patient safety, quality, and capacity management consulting services.
