National print campaign focuses on hospital quality

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has launched a national advertising campaign highlighting patient ratings for more than 1,000 local U.S. hospitals.
The advertisements appeared in 58 major daily newspapers on May 21, directing readers to the organization’s Web site, Hospital Compare ( www.hospitalcompare.hhs.gov). The ad displays scores from two quality and patient satisfaction measures listed on the Web site.
