Agency reveals 'snapshots' of state performance

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality has released its 2008 "state snapshots," which provide healthcare quality data by state.
The agency uses information contained in the 2007 National Healthcare Quality report to rank each state based on 15 measures of performance. These measures include:
- cancer deaths
- vaccination
- prenatal care rates
- heart attack care
The performance data is listed by setting and type of care.
