2009 draft emergency management chapter posted for review

The Joint Commission has posted its 2009 Emergency Management chapter for field review. Previously, emergency management components have been located in the Environment of Care chapter.
This draft is expected to have minimal changes from the previous iteration, primarily renumbering made necessary by changes made during the Standards Improvement Initiative, which will make the numbering system more accurate and better allow for expansion when new standards are added.
