Task force to look into implementation of MS.1.20

The Joint Commission has established a task force charged with exploring issues surrounding implementation of revisions to standard MS.1.20.
The revised standard was approved by the Board of Commissioners in June 2007 for implementation July 2009. The task force will address concerns that have been raised regarding the potential impact of implementing the revised standard, and will offer suggestions to remedy these issues while supporting the objectives of the revisions.
