Joint Commission seeks comments on LS chapter field review

The Joint Commission has posted the proposed Life Safety Chapter for Ambulatory Care, Behavioral Healthcare, Critical Access Hospitals, Home Care, Hospitals, Office-Based Surgery, and Long Term Care programs for public commentary.
Currently all of the standards are contained in the Environment of Care chapter.
The Joint Commission began accepting comments on December 11, 2007, and will continue to allow feedback for the next five weeks.
